A professional author, composer, and performer for over 10 years, the Rennes artist started out as a slam poet. Then, starting in 2005, he joined various musical projects to sing his lyrics, including SILENCE // FATRAS (rock song) and different street and stage performances, not to mention his first loves of drums and percussion within s (Irish trad) and AWAKE (Irish trance). - - These experiences gave him the opportunity to musically explore the four corners of France and some parts of Europe! - - Above all, a lover of words, in 2020, Mathieu RAMAGE embarked on a solo career under his own name and created his first shows where he accompanies himself on the piano. Today, on stage, Mathieu RAMAGE performs solo or with a group, his sharp and offbeat lyrics easily lending themselves to the exercise of rock music. - - 2024 marks a turning point in Mathieu's journey with the release of his first album, ‘Chansons Joyeuses,’ co-produced with Niko Chatalain, with whom he has collaborated for a long time. - - - - ‘For this album, I wanted to work with my long-time collaborator, Niko Chatalain.
