La mer est immense

Description

New album: The group Marins d'Iroise was born in 1992, quite precisely, during a first Brest festival of the “Vieux Gréements,” which has become famous and unmissable over the course of the various editions. To continue the journey, these guys from Brest, many of them former arsenal workers, all with sea legs, bring back to life a tradition that is anything but old-fashioned. In fact, it is Christophe Miossec, the most Brest-born of French chanson artists, who is now the patron of MARINS D'IROISE. Here is their new album “La mer est immense”: Prestigious guests blend their voices with the Marins’ choir, Hugues Auffray of course, but also Gilles Servat, Tri Yann, the trio EDF and, as the icing on the cake, the English rocker Murray Head, who spontaneously agreed to lend his voice to the title track that gave the album its name: “La mer est immense”.
