After a first recording devoted to the melodies of Hélène Covatti and her husband Robert Dussaut (ADX13722), the label asked the Brüggen-Plank duo to record the couple's works for violin and piano. Marie Radauer-Plank and Henrike Brüggen have extensive experience with the 20th-century repertoire, and their two previous recordings, devoted to the works of Karol Szymanowski and George Enescu, have received rave reviews. This new program marks the duo's second collaboration with Audax Records.
