Exceptional reissue meticulously restored in 24-bit/96Hz, produced by Abbey Road Studios from the original tapes. This 3rd collection of Verdi arias - the last recital of Callas - was recorded over a fairly long period, during the years 1964-69. Pages extracted from many rarer works from Verdi's "years of struggle" complement arias from operas present in Callas's stage repertoire - Aida, Un Ballo in Maschera, I Vespri Siciliani, and Il Trovatore.
