Paris-Tahiti

Description

8809944148333 and 8809944148326 – embargo "Paris - Tahiti," like a dream, comes straight from the meeting and the complicity between Mareva Galanter and Helena Noguerra. Helena, like a fairy inspired by a dreamt life in an unknown paradise, Tahiti, listened to Mareva tell her about her "before" life. She offered her tailor-made songs. Enchanting, evocative, sweet, and poetic lyrics that seem to have fallen from the stars. Philippe Eveno, musician and composer, produced the album and composed the music; fresh, elegant, pop, and travel-inspired. Marc Collin, generator of numerous projects where cultures meet and boldly diverge, is the producer. With this new album, Mareva Galanter takes us back to her Tahitian roots. Composed of 12 songs, "Paris - Tahiti" is Mareva Galanter's most personal album. Recorded in Paris and then in Tahiti, traditional sounds are present and subtly blended with a French pop sound. The modernity of the production marries the immortality of traditions. Bursting with curiosity, this album is a cultural encounter never before realized. Ukuleles, percussion, drums, nose flute, and traditional choirs were recorded in Tahiti at the AMSP studio by Jean-Luc Casula, using wooden and bamboo instruments entirely handmade by the musicians themselves.
