This Is The Day (Full band Version)

Description

Released on January 1, 2020, as a digital single to welcome the new year, the track was later pressed as a limited 7-inch in Europe in March 2020, and has since been highly sought after in the secondary market. Driven by a resurgence in popularity — over 9 million views on YouTube — the single returns in a new pressing limited to 500 copies, with a printed sleeve featuring the original artwork. The track is a full band reimagining of a song that concluded the album Golden Days in 2018 in a stripped-down piano-vocal arrangement. In this more fleshed-out version, it radiates hope, joy, and the euphoria of new beginnings — themes at the heart of the sound and spirit of Mamas Gun. On the B-side, Strangers on a Street, also taken from Golden Days, completes the set with warmth and a sense of shared human connection.
