Description

Time Out, a call to suspend the course of events and project oneself into a more serene future, is the title of Malted Milk's 8th album. From the haunting Afrobeat of the eponymous track, to the decadent boogaloo of "I Feel Numb," the ballad "What a Night," and the funky "It's Alright," the band demonstrates its mastery of arrangements, its creative capacity, and its ability to revisit the soul/funk genre. As with the previous album, "1975," Marco Cinelli is credited with writing and producing, bringing undeniable sonic and aesthetic added value to the band. The live translation of this album bears Malted Milk's hallmark: precision, energy, instrumental talent, and group cohesion. Once again, Malted Milk demonstrates its musical vision and asserts the unique place the band occupies on the current soul scene.
