Makja lives in Bordeaux but embodies the rugged landscapes of the Corsican maquis, from which he takes his stage name, a sensitive and versatile singer. As he sings, there is no known path ahead. It was in the 90s that he jotted down his first lines, laid down his first flows, driven by the fever of the rap scene, which he loves for its unfiltered nature. His writing skills then sharpen through contact with the most battered, the most fragile, as he leads writing workshops in prisons, hospitals, or with children and the elderly.
