Description
Funkadelic was originally The Parliaments, a doo-wop group that was born in George Clinton's barbershop. The group was formed in 1964, initially for touring, and consisted of Frankie Boyce, Richard Boyce, and Langston Booth. They enlisted in the army in 1966, and George Clinton (the leader of the Parliaments) recruited Billy Bass Nelson and Eddie Hazel in 1967, followed by Tawl Ross and Tiki Fulwood. The group signed with Westbound in 1968. Maggot Brain is Funkadelic's third album released on Westbound Records in 1971.Buy MAGGOT BRAIN at the best price
