Ray of light

Description

Still seeking legitimacy on a pop scene that is constantly reinventing itself, the Madonna surrounds herself, for this album, with the best electro producers and composers of the moment. The presence of Craig Armstrong and William Orbit brings to Ray of Light an innovative production of millimetric precision. With three Grammy Awards, this album is undoubtedly one of her biggest successes; it will relaunch a career that had been dormant since the commercial failure of Evita. “Frozen” is the hit that launched the record’s meteoric rise. - (“excerpt from the Fnac Ideal Record Collection guide”)
