Youmma Digipack

Description

Through her journey since arriving in France from Syria in 2009, Lynn Adib (vocals) decided to tell her story through music. Her first album "Youmma" speaks of spirituality, traditional Syrian music, madness, and jazz; she celebrates sadness with humor, joy, and melancholy. This "child" of suffering is very dear to her heart, and she wishes to present it to everyone by sharing her universe that blends traditional and modern music. The album was recorded with Fady Farah (Lebanon) on piano, Maurizio Congiu (Italy) on double bass, and Lukmil Perez (Cuba) on drums, at Bopcity studio, Paris 2018.
