Luther

Description

In June 1976, the R&B landscape was forever changed with the launch of the album "Luther" by Luther Vandross, showcasing his extraordinary vocal talent, songwriting, and production skills. The album features the hit "Funky Music (Is A Part Of Me)", which Luther Vandross and David Bowie reimagined as "Fascination" for Bowie's iconic Young Americans, illustrating Vandross's influence. It also includes "Everybody Rejoice (A Brand New Day)" from the musical "The Wiz", which stands as the only recording of Vandross's rendition of this song.
