Luka & Léo Ispir

Description

Every year, the Fondation Gautier Capuçon offers emerging talents the opportunity to record an album with Warner Classics / Erato. This year, the Foundation is honoring the Ispir brothers, Luka on violin and Léo on cello, winners of the 2nd cohort. Their first album, the result of their bond and their shared passion for music, explores a rich repertoire, from Bach to Ravel, including Rameau and Mozart. Among the works are Ravel’s Sonata, a symbol of their very first duo concert, and Street of Memories by Fazil Say, composed especially for the album, as a tribute to their Turkish roots. This album, far more than a musical work, embodies their deep convictions and their commitment to raising awareness through art.
