Sonates pour piano numéros 8, 14 et 23

Description

Oleg Akkuratov is a sensation in today's music scene. He is a pianist and singer with a very rare talent for music, a virtuoso performer of classical and jazz works, and also a winner of numerous international competitions. He has collaborated with great artists including Montserrat Caballé and Evelyn Glennie. This album brings together three very famous sonatas by Beethoven: No. 8 Pathétique, No. 14 Clair de lune, and No. 23 Appassionata. These works have been recorded many times before, but there is something special about his interpretation. He has been able to deeply feel the drama of the composer's life, as he too gradually lost his hearing, forcing him to confront despair and frustration.
