The maestro adds: « The participation of the Virtuosi Italiani orchestra, who joined me on stage for the second part of the concert, made the evening even more wonderful. I had the chance to play some of the works tracing the evolution of my work with this magnificent orchestra in addition to a few new arrangements from my repertoire. » These pieces included the unreleased Berlin Song and Tu Sei, orchestral versions of Eros, Nightbook, and I Giorni, as well as the well-known pieces from Divenire. The double CD of the concert at the Royal Albert Hall is accompanied by a DVD (the first of Einaudi's career) directed by Nick Hillel of Yeast Culture, a prominent London collective of directors and videographers in the arty scene.
