This new opus plays like a suite, a novel divided into fourteen chapters that projects us into a vast journey adorned with the subtle contributions of strings, percussion, and electro elements. As intense as Divenire, as experimental as Nightbook, this new album goes even further by exploring new textures and imagining new arrangements. Composed over a period of two years, In A Time Lapse was recorded in a monastery in Verona, in Veneto. Balancing and singular, it is both rich and sober, abundant and refined, traversed by lunar and refined melodies, conducive to meditation. Circular, repetitive when needed, all in elegance and sometimes on the edge of trance, the song of his piano guides us as if it were pulling the strings of an endless daydream. We will be touched by the echoes of baroque music and Italian folklore but also by the elegant and airy strings of the ensemble I Virtuosi Italiani and the violinist Daniel Hope. Unique soundscapes serving a deep reflection on the idea of time.
