Première Année is the new film by Thomas Lilti (Mariage à Mendoza, Médecin De Campagne, Hippocrate) featuring Vincent Lacoste, William Lebghil, Alexandre Blazy... An original score by the American alternative rock band LoW. We owe the film's soundtrack to the band LoW, which brings together French composers Alexandre Lier, Sylvain Ohrel, and Nicolas Weil. The latter composed the soundtrack for the film La Stratégie de la poussette and have previously collaborated with Thomas Lilti on the soundtracks of the films Médecin de campagne and Hippocrate. With Première Année, the trio delivers a delicate pop soundtrack alternating with more electronic and rhythmic tracks like the song Read 1984. The melodies offered by the band reveal a delicate and energetic writing style at the same time.
