For fans of Foreigner, AOR.New solo album from Lou Gramm, singer of Foreigner.Ten original tracks by Lou, written with Bruce Turgon, former member of Black Sheep.The album features contributions from Tony Franklin on bass on the track "Long Gone" and Vivian Campbell on guitar on the opening track, "Young Love", alongside long-time musical collaborators, such as his brother Ben on drums.Originally from Rochester, New York, Lou Gramm was born into a family of musicians.His first major band was Black Sheep, a bluesy hard rock group that released two underrated albums on Capitol.Lou met his future bandmate, Mick Jones, at a Black Sheep concert in Rochester with the band Spooky Tooth, then featuring Mick, in 1975.The two would form Foreigner in 1976 and go on to release multi-platinum albums and hit singles. Indeed, they were the first band since the Beatles to have their first eight singles chart in the US Top 20.While still a member of Foreigner, Lou embarked on a solo career, releasing "Ready Or Not" in 1987, an album that included the hit "Midnight Blue". It was followed by another successful solo album, "Long Hard Look" in 1989, featuring the hit "Just Between You And Me".Now, in 2026, Lou releases his long-awaited third solo album, aptly titled "Released". Produced by Lou himself, "Released" can proudly stand alongside Lou's previous solo albums, as well as his unmatched recordings with Foreigner.The album also includes "True Blue Love (Unplugged)", originally released on "Long Hard Look" in 1989.Reuniting with his former Foreigner bandmates, Lou wrote the lyrics and performed the new track "Turning Back The Time", released for Foreigner's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024, as well as the previously unreleased track "Fool If You Love Him" for the Foreigner "4" box set, released in 2025.Lou and his band will go on tour to promote "Released" in 2026.
