Native Sons

Description

The band Los Lobos, from Los Angeles, has always been inspired by its environment and the place where it is located.
Their music is influenced by rock and roll, Tex-Mex, country, zydeco, folk, R&B, blues, brown-eyed soul, and traditional music such as cumbia, boleros, and norteños. With Native Sons, the band wanted to showcase all these influences with its own version of songs from Los Angeles written by some of the city's greatest songwriters. Native Sons includes 13 songs by well-known Los Angeles artists like Buffalo Springfield, WAR, Jackson Browne, and the Beach Boys, as well as deep cuts from the Jaguars, the Basters, and the Premiers. The title track is the only original composition written by the band.
