«Hard as Iron»: In 1999, Lofofora was back with their third album, Hard as Iron. Its mythical introduction - «Watch the stars fall» - set the theme: Hard as Iron is a dark album. Dark because of its cover, dark because of its music more raw and heavy than ever, and dark because of its lyrics offering a very critical view of society. With this masterpiece, Lofofora once again established itself as the leading figure of the vibrant French scene. For its 20th anniversary, the album was remastered by Magnus Lindberg (Refused, AqME, Tagada Jones, ...) allowing for a sound update without distorting its very particular sound.
