Seven Collector's Edition

Description

After a long absence from the recorded music world, Lisa Stansfield makes her big return. Seven is Stansfield’s 7th studio album, co-produced and co-written with her husband and longtime favorite songwriter, Ian Devaney (whose successes include the soundtracks to Bodyguard and Indecent Proposal). The new songs were recorded in Los Angeles and Manchester, and feature the participation of JR Robinson, known as “the most recorded drummer in history,” and Grammy Award-winning conductor Jerry Hey, who contributed to the creation of Michael Jackson’s albums Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad. Seven is an album of moving and groovy songs, like the first single Can’t dance, and pop ballads that showcase Lisa Stansfield’s unique voice. Listening to these tracks, it’s impossible not to wonder why she waited eight years before recording them.
