The eponymous album by Liaisons Dangereuses consists of 10 absolutely electrifying songs produced by Chrislo Haas (DAF) and Beate Bartel (Mania D., Matador, Einstürzende Neubauten) and singer Krishna Goineau.Liaisons Dangereuses is a German new wave group, originally from Düsseldorf. The group was active for a very short time, between 1981 and 1982. As part of the Neue Deutsche Welle (German New Wave) scene, they were pioneers of Electronic Body Music (EBM).After recording four ten-minute cassettes, they released their only album in 1981. The album Liaisons Dangereuses was mixed at Conny Plank's studio in Cologne. The album contains tracks that have become cult classics, such as "Los Ninos del Parque", which became an underground success and was cited as a crucial influence by Detroit techno DJs, Chicago house DJs, and many others. The group made several live appearances throughout 1981 and 1982, and were sometimes joined by Anita Lane (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and Hideto Sasaki. Chrislo Haas died in Berlin in October 2004.
