The LP reissue of the essential "Electric Troubles" by Thugs This record, recorded in London in 1987, will definitively establish the Thugs' trademark, something between the Beatles and Motörhead, as they described themselves, neither hardcore nor pop, neither noise nor punk, all of that at once and even more. A wall of guitars over which a melody rides, a simple and effective recipe pushed here to its peak. Perhaps we owe this to the expertise of the English studio Redwood and to Alan Scott's production, but we owe it above all to the Thugs and their very clear vision of how they want to sound, unashamed in front of Americans and Brits, they simply make the music they want to hear.
