Nos courses folles

Les Fouteurs de Joie have existed for over twenty years.
We created our fourth show "Nos courses folles" in September 2021. About twenty "preview" dates this season allowed us to test the show, refine the musical arrangements as well as the interpretations of the songs. Before presenting it at the Avignon festival in the summer of 2022 (before starting a long tour that we hope will last several seasons (generally, our shows are performed several hundred times over four or five seasons), before presenting it next December at Bobino, the time seems right to consider recording the album. (It will take place this month, in April). Far from being a "souvenir" album of the show, we will think of it as a true album that hopefully stands on its own.
Concept album with over 70 minutes of music, punctuated by mini-songs "fils rouges", and a few musical interludes thought of as breaths; in total, more than twenty original tracks will be recorded. On the album, the arrangements will be enriched (additional instruments, more developed orchestrations, great care taken in the sound production), all with a constant concern for overall coherence.
