For all fans of King Crimson, Opeth, Pain of Salvation, and Devin Townsend! From the very first tones of this album, we can affirm that the touch of madness present in the previous works of the band is indeed present; the instrumental is well-rehearsed, and we find an alternation of rhythms and atmospheres that are sometimes sinister and heavy, sometimes more "light" and bright, and it is from this contrast that this alchemy we could so much expect will arise! An opportunity to admire the magnificent production work surrounding this album, visibly extremely polished and perfectly mastered. The quite exceptional vocal performance of Einar Solberg is in perfect harmony with the atmosphere of the tracks, and even has a rather "theatrical" aspect at times. The choruses quickly become catchy, while the musicians multiply the technical feats on the rhythmic side, providing us on numerous occasions with a sort of "discomfort." This opus undoubtedly finds its place among the best works of this year 2013. A great vintage! Limited edition in Mediabook version and containing 2 bonus tracks.
