To accompany the two sold-out concerts at the famous 100 Club in London, Lenny Kaye (Patti Smith Group, original compiler of the Nuggets compilation) took his group of exceptional musicians, the Nuggets Band, consisting of Rat Scabies (The Damned), Dave Treganna (Sham 69, Lords of the New Church), Marty Love (Johnny Moped, Wingmen), Doctor Clive Jackson (Dr & The Medics) and Jim Jones (Jim Jones All Stars, Thee Hypnotics), to the BBC to record a session for Marc Riley and Gideon Coe on 6Music.
