John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant formed Led Zeppelin in 1968. Over the following decade, the band became the most influential and innovative rock act, with more than 300 million albums sold worldwide. Their songs hold a place of choice in rock history and in the hearts of international fans of all ages. But no matter how many times you have already listened to their music, you will rediscover Led Zeppelin as you have never heard it before! Starting June 2, the release date of the Deluxe versions of Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin III, the band will launch a major chronological reissue campaign of its nine studio albums remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page. Led Zeppelin will also open its archives to share dozens of previously unreleased studio and live recordings. Each album will be offered with a second “companion” disc made up of never-before-released alternate takes or previously unreleased live and/or unreleased tracks corresponding to the album in question. “The content of these companion discs offers a journey back in time inside the Led Zeppelin recording sessions,” explains Jimmy Page. “They contain a selection of works in progress, rough versions, instrumentals, alternate versions and unreleased tracks recorded at the time.” 6-panel soft pack reproducing the original cover and the “negative” artwork, plus a second audio “companion” disc (previously unreleased concert recorded in France in 1969), and a 16-page booklet.
