Hapax

Description

In 2014, to make his first album La Cruauté Tranquille Du Quotidien Suffit, Lautrec teamed up with Guts, the beatmaker who has now become famous in France and even beyond our borders, Billie Brelok and Cheeko, and the project met with success thanks to several media favorites. He returns this year with Hapax, a new album in which he takes us on a nighttime walk through the small streets of Paris, taking snapshots of the present in the reflection of puddles. Carried by the Parisian’s flow and the warm jazzy productions of Yann Kornowicz (prod. & keyboards) and Dan Amozig (guitar & bass), we meet faceless people there, forgotten souls on the edge of the world, doing what they can to apologize for the gap between who they are and who they would have liked to be. With lyrics of striking pragmatic poetry and backed by unwavering support from media outlets like FIP, Lautrec makes his return with an album that will appeal as much to chanson fans as to rap lyric lovers. For fans of: Rouda, Oxmo Puccino, Lucio Bukowski, La Canaille, Claudio Capéo, etc.
