Erotica 70

Description

Larry Manteca is back with Erotica 70, an exciting new journey into the world of 1970s Italian erotic comedy. Jazz, funk, exotica, flutes, analog synthesizers and sensual Italian vocals come together to form an affectionate, slightly offbeat tribute to the soundtrack of Italian erotic comedies, from smoky nightclubs to provincial cinemas, via the seductive and eccentric world of 70s soundtracks. Steeped in the sounds and spirit of Piero Umiliani, Erotica 70 draws inspiration from his jazz, funk and electronic-infused language, his vintage recording equipment and his essential presence in the erotic comedies of the era. An imaginary soundtrack to a vanished Italy, this album vividly brings the spirit of the 70s back to life.
