Superbe compilation 3 CD du légendaire guitariste Larry Carlton. Reprenant les meilleurs morceaux des six albums de Larry Carlton enregistrés pour Warner Bros. Larry a également enregistré avec les groupes de jazz légendaires The Crusaders et Fourplay ; trois titres de Fourplay figurent sur cette compilation : « Snowbound », une reprise du morceau de Donald Fagan tiré de son album « Kamakiriad », et « Nite Crawler », qu'il a composé pour The Crusaders et qui figure sur leur album « Free As The Wind ». Larry Carlton a joué de la guitare sur plusieurs albums de Steely Dan, ainsi que sur des sessions d'enregistrement pour Joni Mitchell et The Four Tops, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns. Le coffret comprend également en bonus le générique télévisé de Hill Street Blues de Mike Post, avec Larry Carlton à la guitare.
