"Bloom" follows "Blood Harmony" (2022), the latest album by Larkin Poe, which won a Grammy Award for “Best Contemporary Blues Album.” This record allowed the Lovell sisters to confirm their growing success in France. In addition to numerous articles in Rolling Stone, Guitare Xtreme, Guitar Part, Rock & Folk, and even Paris Match, Rebecca and Megan were guests of Michka Assayas on his Very Good Trip on France Inter, and featured on Georges Lang's Nocturnes on RTL. They captivated the audience of Taratata with a memorable 100% live performance. At the same time, their single "Strike Gold" reached the top of playlists like on Oüi FM. The highlight of this campaign was undoubtedly the nearly sold-out concert at the Olympia in October 2023: "What a concert!" headlined Le Parisien. While they spent the summer on the road alongside Slash for his S.E.R.P.E.N.T Festival, the Lovell sisters' duo today announces "Bloom," their new studio album that combines lush soundscapes with lyrics that guide the listener towards profound contemporary questions, through the blues-infused sounds of the Mississippi hills.
