Boby Lapointe chanté par

Description

Lapointe: Verbal and whimsical magician, syntactic clown, king of the pun, off-track songwriter. Boby Lapointe brought a good dose of laughter and slices of utterly bizarre music to the French music scene. A must-discover and rediscover without delay! Boby Lapointe, magician of words and their arrangement, postwar eccentric singer, delivers us a “flow” that is at once chaotic, monotone, and singular. On this album, the cream of French chanson pays tribute to the very particular “little music” of this poet who is both funny and profound. This project blends together great Boby Lapointe hits, subtly reinterpreted and sung with delight. They create a new kind of “song recital,” at once theatrical, poetic, and playful, giving a second youth to the innovative work of one of the most original singer-songwriters in French chanson.
