Lane is back for a third album!
At the time of the split of the Angers group, the quintet was preparing to record its third album with a pre-production recorded in their rehearsal space. It is these mixed and mastered sessions that the band offers us as a testament to "Where Things Were." One should not believe that this "Where Things Were" is just a draft of an album. Because we know the sonic intransigence of the five from Maine-beat and that the recording conditions are practically the same as for "Teaching not to pray," their first 4-track EP, and "A shiny day," their first album with Camille Belin at the helm. We just have to imagine what the studio experience could have brought that is less raw but perhaps also less spontaneous.
But enough conjecture, let us enjoy the pleasure of finding the band at its peak, inspired, true to its three-guitar pop-punk. Ten tracks like a flying brick, airy, full of promises.
