Description

Dans la vraie vie is LAMBZ's first album. In French, the ten original tracks feature powerful, uncompromising lyrics on societal themes such as workplace bullying, the harmful influence of certain public figures, and skewed perspectives, as well as more personal subjects like the feeling of perpetual displacement, the joys of travel and encounters, and even a love song. Musically, it's just as rich, with Reggae as the main ingredient, spiced up with Rock, Soul, and Afro touches here and there, all wonderfully played live by the cream of musicians in the genre: Biguy Melindji on drums and backing vocals (Tiken Jah Fakoly, Papa Wemba...), Valess Assouan on bass (Tiken Jah Fakoly, IJahman Levi...), Alex Armel on guitar (Pierpoljak, Taïro...), Christian Nimy on keyboards (Magic System, Ismaël Isaac...), Pablo U-Wa on percussion, and Cécile Citadelle on backing vocals! Biguy Melindji on production and Timour Cardenas on mixing (Alpha Blondy, Nèg' Marrons...) for an impeccable result!
