LAMBCHOP and KURT WAGNER have always loved and excelled at the art of the cover. In the fall of 2019, Kurt Wagner had this unique idea: he decided to invite all the members of LAMBCHOP to Nashville to record an album in which each member would choose a song for the group to cover and lead the recording session. The result became LAMBCHOP's new album, TRIP: 6 divine covers recorded from December 2 to 7, 2019, at Battletapes in Nashville, Tennessee, produced and mixed by Jeremy Ferguson. TRIP sounds like a perfect convergence between the band's older catalog and their recent work. Always that sophistication and innovation characteristic of Lambchop's ALT COUNTRY sound.
