Reconnection

Description

Listening to “Reconnection” is like carrying out one’s own experience, tracing one’s own groove on one’s inner turntable in tune with the disco-funk-house of “High on Heels”, the muscular blues of “Boogie bogey Man”, while also passing through the Stooges-like rock of “Desert of Respite”… not forgetting that this whole range falls under the aegis of popular, inventive and refined music. And that is the very essence of the human tapestry that Lady H weaves in her album: if the ear is surprised without stumbling and captivated without losing interest, it is because the main thread is a “reconnected” and “reconnecting” pop heart capable of making people groove and of binding together every eardrum willing to take part in the adventure.
