La Symphonie de Poche Arrangements d'œuvres de Lalo et Ravel

Description

Born in 1983 in Bordeaux, Deborah Nemtanu received her first prize in 2001 at the Conservatoire national supérieur de Musique de Paris. Since then, she has accumulated numerous international distinctions: the Maurice Ravel Academy Prize in 2001, fourth prize and special prizes at the Jacques Thibaud competition in 2002, participation in the Perlman Program (USA) in 2007, second prize at the Benjamin Britten Competition in London in 2008, culminating in a concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2005, she was appointed principal violinist of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, a highly responsible position she still holds today. In this capacity, she regularly performs as a soloist at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, notably in Saint-Saëns' Concerto No. 3, Lalo's Spanish Symphony, Brahms' concerto, or Bach's concertos, establishing deep trustful relationships with conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Louis Langrée, Juraj Valcuha, and Sir Roger Norrington. As a soloist, she plays at the Enescu Festival and the Augsburg Festival under the direction of Sir Roger Norrington. She also performs at the Folles journées in Nantes and Tokyo, the Salzburg Festival, the Montpellier Festival, the Musée d'Orsay, and the Midis-Minimes Festival in Brussels; her first recital with pianist Natacha Kudriskaya is a euphoric experience! Throughout her tours, Deborah Nemtanu has numerous fruitful musical encounters, particularly with Boris Berezovsky, Stephen Kovacevich, Romain Descharmes, Jean-Frederic Neuburger, Adam Laloum, François Leleux, Emmanuel Pahud, Fazil Say, Daniel Hope, not to mention her sister Sarah Nemtanu, also a violinist and her lifelong partner. Praised by the press, her first album, dedicated to Saint-Saëns and Fauré, was released in 2013, with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris conducted by Thomas Zehetmair (Mirare). In December 2014, she collaborated with her sister Sarah for the recording of Bach's and Schnittke's violin concertos (Naive), followed by the complete Duos by Bartók in 2016 for Decca this time.
