From 2008 to 2014, La Fine Équipe perfected their sound within the "La Boulangerie" trilogy, compilations bringing together 34 beatmakers across 113 tracks. They also worked on creating the label Nowadays Records (Fakear, UNNO, Clément Bazin, Jumo, Everydayz & Phazz, Leska...). For over 10 years, they have developed an entire universe shaped by a passion for beatmaking, which now culminates with the release of their first album, "5th Season". Among the featured artists are Illa J, the brother of J Dilla, and T3, a member of the legendary Slum Village, who join forces on the track "The Source", bridging their glorious past with the future represented by La Fine Équipe. The mystical voice of singer Madjo elevates "Aurora", a solemn electro-pop piece. Also present on the album are American rapper Mr. J. Medeiros on the boom-bap ode "WhatEva", Montreal's ZéFire on "Typical Boy", the collaboration between Grems and 20syl who take the mic again on "Nobu", as well as Fakear, Declaime, Georgia Anne Muldrow, among others. All these artists lend a hand to give "5th Season" an unlimited and completely unapologetic musical richness.
