Description

This new album from Brigade du Kif features 12 songs written on napkins or coasters, tested during soundchecks, sung at after-parties, or even played during the concerts of the "En bas de chez de toi (2018-2019)" tour. Two days after the last concert of this tour, the band entered the studio. They are fired up, in their element, with the raw energy of two years on the road. They isolate themselves for four weeks in a remote hamlet in Southern Catalonia, where they find the ideal atmosphere to record their third album. At the helm once again is Mr. David Bourguignon (*). The talented, versatile producer has a clear idea of how he wants these tracks, born on and off the stage, to sound. He aims to capture the essence of a band honed by touring, and to achieve this, he has the band play live, with the bassist, guitarist, and drummer together in the same room! Old-school, in search of the essential, and it sounds great! This shift towards a rawer, more Rock sound is embraced. Brigade remains Brigade; they will always love to play with styles to bring out their festive essence, with tastes and colors that are always different. Like a fireworks display that could be seen from Barcelona, London, Cuba, Budapest, New Orleans, and even Bugarach, they told us.
