Kvaen, the extreme metal band from Kalix, Sweden, led by Jacob Björnfot, is releasing their third album "The Formless Fires" under Metal Blade Records. This melodic black metal album, inspired by the local landscapes, blends beauty and violence with icy melodies and powerful riffs. More than their first album "The Funeral Pyre" (2020) and the captivating "The Great Below" (2022), this album evokes the vast pine forests and frozen lakes.
