Disappeared in December 2015, the great German conductor Kurt Masur recorded most of his discography with Warner Classics. Today a very rare complete set is being released, as it includes the Symphonies of Mendelssohn, including the famous Italian and Scottish, but also the Symphonies for strings, which are very rarely recorded.
