Dancehall is back

Description

“DANCEHALL IS BACK” is the title of KRYS’s new album. It marks the return of one of the major artists on the Caribbean, French, and international dancehall scene. To put this album together, KRYS surrounded himself with the best: Jamaican star KONSHENS, the artist behind the international hit “Gal a bubble,” lends his support on the very dancehall track “Toulao”; Nigerian artist J.Martins, performer of the original version of the huge hit “E no easy” featuring P Square, joins him as a duo on the hit “Put your handz up.” KRYS also showcases new talent, such as T-Shaa, a young artist from the Step Out label, who joins him on the festive “Méné mwen dansé,” currently at the top of the radio charts in the French overseas departments and territories. A major artist in Antillean music and a leader on the French reggae-dancehall scene, KRYS enjoys a popularity and reputation that allow him not only to fill venues during his many live concerts, but also to mobilize more than 200,000 fans online through social media. His label Step Out Productions, producer among others of Colonel Reyel, will know how to bring to life the release of this event album, which will delight Caribbean communities and reggae aficionados, but also has everything it takes to appeal to a wider audience.
