DJ - Kicks 1996

Description

Le duo autrichien Kruder & Dorfmeister left an indelible mark on the 90s with their downtempo and ethereal electro. Even though they only produced two unreleased maxi singles, big names like Count Basie, Bomb The Bass, Alex Reece or United Future Organization had some of their tracks remixed by these exceptional producers.
Their productions on compilations from Ninja Tune, SSR and Wall Of Sound are considered milestones in the trip-hop genre. While they were working on DJ-Kicks and their first album, they turned down remix requests for U2, Grace Jones, Elvis Costello and the Fantastic Four!
