PHANTOM ANTICHRIST

Description

Already their thirteenth album and more than 25 years of career. No need to beat around the bush. KREATOR, with Phantom Antichrist, has released one of the best albums of 2012. A record more bloodthirsty than its predecessors. You can feel the band in fine form, enjoying an internal cohesion without limits. Here is a true, beautiful THRASH record, in which its figureheads prove capable of delivering more splendor. Massive, physical, and rather melodic, PHANTOM ANTICHRIST has plenty to delight. It shows KREATOR in a period of total regrouping that is a pleasure to hear. MILLE PETROZZA is, to this day, one of the greatest charismatic figures in Metal, both on stage and in the studio. A furiously good album that has that little something extra that the previous albums perhaps did not have. An explanation that undoubtedly comes through the production, which smells of spontaneity, brutality, and modernity. The screams are a perpetual declaration of war that never gets old.
