Musique pour piano

Description

After a detour through Beethoven’s chamber music alongside Kristof Barati and Timora Rosler, Klara Würtz returns solo to Brilliant Classics. This time she turns to Schumann and presents the Fantasiestücke opus 12, a fantastical and dark collection inspired by ETA Hoffmann himself, who was inspired by the engravings of the Frenchman Jacques Callot (17th century). Completing the program are the Kinderszenen opus 15 and two other pieces: Arabeske opus 18, and Waldszenen opus 82. Recorded in 1999 and 2007.
