Pianist and composer trained at NTNU in Trondheim and then at the Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen, Kjetil Mulelid has established himself as one of the most promising figures in contemporary Nordic jazz. Surrounded by bassist Bjørn Marius Hegge and drummer Andreas Skår Winther, he presents with Who Do You Love The Most? a third album that extends the trio's unique identity. The original compositions, along with a moving reinterpretation of The Archetypal Man by Judee Sill, blend lyricism, sophisticated harmonies, complex rhythms, and influences from Scandinavian folklore, classical music, and gospel.
