"Off the Soundboard: Poughkeepsie, NY, 1984" is the fifth volume of the official KISS bootleg series. It was recorded on November 28, 1984, during the "Animalize" tour at the Mid-Hudson Civic Arena in Poughkeepsie, New York, with the temporary lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Carr, and Mark St. John. This is indeed the only known console recording with this guitarist. Mark St. John had participated in the recording of the album "Animalize" but, due to illness, had to leave the tour and then the band.
