SAD HILL

Description

Sad Hill is the first album produced by the DJ of the group IAM. A landmark French rap album released in 1997. A tribute to the world of Sergio Leone’s film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, for which three members of IAM took the pseudonyms Blondin, Sentenza and Tuco to practice their art at the opening of the album in the heart of the Sad Hill cemetery. This compilation of original tracks brings together the cream of the French hip hop scene of the time and delivers many tracks that have since become “classics”: Oxmo Puccino “Mama Lova”, X-Men “c'est justifiable”, Passi “Les meufs du showbiz”, Pit Baccardi “côté obscur connection”, Def Bond “secret défense”, Akhenaton alias Sentenza “Total Kheops 2”, Shurik'n alias Jo l'indien “si j'avais su”, Freeman alias Tuco “fils du dragon” and also tracks by Stomy Bugsy, Fabe and Koma, Faf Larage HiFi...
