Keygen Church is the work led by technologist and songwriter Vittorio d’Amore, also a member of the 8-bit group MBR. Keygen Church writes and records through undisclosed real-time events, where lucky spectators witness the spontaneous creative process of the group. Like its predecessors in 2022, Nel Nome Del Codice is a modern-primitive love letter to doom/gothic/black metal with foundations in classical music from the baroque era and romantic era. Nel Nome Del Codice is reminiscent of La Masquerade Infernale by Arcturus or The Umbersun by Elend if it had been imagined by the 8-bit Japanese composer Koichi Sugiyama (Dragon Quest). The logo is ASCII art, a "graphic language" created by users of electronic bulletin board systems (BBS) in the early days of the Internet.
