KCIDY, aka Pauline Le Caignec, is constantly composing, and her pop naturally reflects all the upheavals she experiences.
Since the early 2010s, several chapters have followed one another, from group moments in Satellite Jockey or Tôle Froide, to her first EPs and solo albums.
Since then, there's no doubt that her songs are an outlet. They are intimate, honest, oscillating between nostalgia and candid jubilation for all that constitutes the present. It's her mirror, but not only that, as it's also a playground for adventure and contemplation, where anything is allowed as long as it creates a shift.
Over time and projects, Pauline zooms in more and more precisely on her truth, her micro-life, and her relationship with all the forces that surround her.
The immense and the immediate. A good starting point to represent the substance of KCIDY's new album, where memories mingle with the giddiness of what might come to pass.
This new album will be available from October 10th on vinyl and Digisleeve.
